You will never see a better example of leadership hiding behind "Christian," values to exploit talent. This is not a business culture that is open to ideas or change. It is a culture of autocratic rule and dishonesty.

Joyce, the owners mother, is very nice and quite professional given the environment.

Cons

Kathy, the owner, micromanages her staff to the point of exhaustion. A business owner should not waste her time following each and every employee around documenting their every move. She should run the business and let her managers deal with the staff. Also, the pay and benefits are far below industry standards. The production staff are all non benefit part time employees making minimum wage.

The employees are really great.

Cons

Unbelievable nepotism. No growth path - its a family owned business, and all the top spots are taken. Unstable work environment - if you make the owner mad, that's it. And she isn't rational. No positive feedback ever. For anything. Absolutely the worst benefits that can be bought. Pay is very low. Office culture is one of fear.
