~advanced.1 is a sweatshop~ Overworked and underpaid -- 56 hrs/week at $13/hr; NO RAISES Male dominated company Poor management Poor scheduling -- telling you on a Friday that you must work overtime all weekend Favoritism -- managers have their favorites/choose their friends for new training and higher positions Very long shifts No rewards for good work Temp to hire to abused; they rarely hire, even the best drafters Harsh, production based environment Coordinators, QCers and drafters were intoxicated at work on many occasions Entire teams of temp-to-hire have been fired without warning My review is based entirely on the actions that I witnessed over the course of 2 years. People in charge will not respect you. Advanced is a good company to get some job experience in if you're interested in making a career out of drafting but I would NEVER recommend falling for their career traps. You can make a lot more money at other companies using the training that they give you. Basically, it's like going to prison and coming out a skilled worker :-)
