      Pros

      There is a significant amount of work, especially with NJDOT. Overall, the department has strong leadership, and managers are always willing to help.

      Cons

      Can get stressful when multiple submissions are due at once.

      Pros

      Pay is decent. 4% 401k match that is vested after just 3 months. Not a lot of micromanagement.

      Cons

      Middle management can be a bit of a mixed bag. Some are good, but some have serious communication issues and in the worst-case blatant misogyny or racism.
