Horrible micromanage culture

Pros

Commission is not bad. This is a Singapore company, so don't expect much. Can't think of anything else good about this company.

Cons

1. Super micromanage 2. Bosses have extreme moodswings and have serious insecurities 3. Treats AMs like school kids - time in by 845am or you will be penalised and real brownie points will be deducted. This brownie point system affects your commission tiering. 4. Needs to report to receptionist on your whereabouts 5. Lacks of trust and empowerment 6. HR is terrible. Oversell the role, perks and benefits. They do not work and care for employees. Unconfirmed staff has no leave, no mc, no Off-in-lieu. Their confirmation is based mainly on your sales numbers. 7. Super high turnover. Some people quit after 1 day. I have seen few cases like that. 8. Very demotivating and demoralising place.

Pros

-Great and fun sales colleagues - Company that trains staff for their competitors -Once you worked here before, you will be able to Breeze through any other challenges you face in future.

Cons

Probably have to attach an annex here. Way too much to state down. A brief summary: -Disillusional bosses who always think they are right and surround themselves with people who lie to them that they are right. -Serious trust issues. Do join them if you like micro-management. Sorry....Macro-management is more like it. Bosses scrutinise your calender, even calling your customers to confirm that you have visited them. -advocate Consultative selling...but make you present close to 200 pages of PowerPoint slides to your customers. You can actually see the soul leave your customer’s eyes once you hit the 50th slide. -many reasons to deny you your rightful payout. -join them at your own risk. You have been warned!!! -Every single good review has been written by the inner circle of management staff to scam unsuspecting personnel to quite their current job and join them.

Pros

There's some few colleagues that pull through the hard time together

This is the only time and might be the last time i comment in glassdoor. Every companies has their pros and cons, no company is perfect and I want to specially thanks this company because I learn to appreciate the trust and confident given to me when I joined other company. Because Adventus is the worse company I ever joined, i met colleague that had phobia and out of jobs for many months, afraid of joining wrong company again. I had left for nearly 1 year+ but still heard bad news from this company, in order to help my fellow citizens, I have to write something if not I will let myself down. 1. Micro Management - Your location, your phone conversation & all your emails are monitored, must be according to management standard even if proved successful, even if clients and internal staff understand 2. Ridiculous Expectation - Will consume you until you everyday work with fear, giving you expectation that can't be make and will push all the blames to you 3. No long-term solution - Management expect immediate results even though logically required time and resources to nurture 4. Employee is not the asset of company - The only core value of the company is stringent process and micro management. Consume by Ego, only management can make the decision, no discussion, if doesn't follow the same direction, out you go even if you have work more than 5 years for company or contributed a lot. Even if when management discuss and ask the staff about the decision, no one dare to counter and management is smart enough to only ask the person who follow his order. And the management will not give you face in front of client during meeting. 6. Backstabbing - Cannot communicate with anyone close to management, it will lead to sacking of someone if management found out you shown negativity towards them 7. No Integrity - Number of staff, back-end strength, history are not honestly being told to clients, management likes to join in meeting and won't give you face in front of clients. 8. No need to say, high turn over every month, of causee... There's actually more than above but you can still join at your risk, because at the end of the day choices are make by individuals. Just remember, keep your confidence firm and not let it be crush by the management because they will find every single weakness of yours and spread around. And for those who are too late, at least you will definitely learn to appreciate your old or new environment more. Obviously, all the 5 stars comments are uploaded by the management. Good luck!
