Pros

Product is one of the best I've seen on the market before they slashed it down to the bones. Coworkers were incredible people. Bought into the vision and worked together towards a common goal

Cons

Spent a ton of money flying the entire company to Austria for a week and talked about IPO-ing in 2025. At the event they used the #AdverityTogether which was ironic considering senior management knew during that offsite week that they would be laying off 25% of the company just a few weeks after. Company leadership was out of touch with things and made promises to investors they couldn't keep. Company wanted to 500% it's revenue from 2021 to 2022. Not even the best products out there do that. Removing the negative yet true reviews posted on Glassdoor.

Pros

The product is truly impressive in it's capabilities; great people across the business in every department.

Cons

Senior Leadership. They flew everyone to Austria for an unbelievable retreat experience where we all bonded and committed to leadership's goal of a 2025 IPO. The very next month they laid off a massive amount of people with little to no feedback given. The severance package was a disrespectfully low amount. I was unaware corporate leadership could be so irresponsible.

Pros

- Decent product - Lots of good colleagues

Cons

Unfortunately I was one of the many people "let go" having served with the company for over two years. In short the business grew way too quickly, the revenue targets set for 2022 are completely unachievable and unfortunately the company has now had to let a large proportion of the sales team go across SDR, AE and Management level. The founders of the business, and particularly the CRO are completely detatched from the reality of the business on a day to day level, and the unmet promises they made to investors now result in heads rolling. To anybody looking at this and considering Adverity as a future employer, particularly in a sales role, don't bother. A maximum of 5% of the sales team are hitting targets this year, and on top of this you have a CRO and new VP of Sales (old one left a couple of months ago) who give you zero room for autonomy with an autocratic style (make more calls, daily deal updates etc...). They genuinely don't care about the people in the team (those that they let go or those that remain), and what was an open and collaborative culture 6 months ago, is now a closed and negative one. Plenty of businesses exist in this space with a stronger strategy, better culture and competent leadership.
