Pros

Melbourne office is in a good location and they are nice enough offices. Was given a weeks training to learn how to answer a phone and sell concert tickets, so can't complain about lack of training in the role.

Cons

As stated, new employees for a particular campaign were given a weeks training, and then when we started on the phones it seemed that many of the things drilled into us during training, weren't practised. Super limited staff for the ticketing campaign, which meant every caller was furious at wait times. This is not so much Aegis' fault, but it did not help that you had to barrel through the call as quickly as possible, meaning the person who had been waiting for two hours on hold was lucky to get a minute of your time. Extremely strict on break times, and one of the most boring jobs I've ever worked in my life.

Easy to get the job... Literally that is it

Cons

Management is completely corrupt and one of the most ridiculous places I have ever worked. HR is non existent, campaigns are being run by disgusting middle aged white men who have absolutely no intelligence and are easily threatened. No rewards or recognition of any hard work, but constant harassment for the most minor issues. As a manager of a team of 16 time was precious however management always had to make time for berating an employee for being 2 mins late and not informing us. All in all the worst company I have ever worked for.
