Pros
OK - I have been with this company for just under two years. Before I started, I saw both positive and negative reviews on glassdoor. Once I interviewed I realized the negative reviews reflected a time when middle management was doing things wrong and causing chaos - but those people were already gone. IMHO, this is a great place to work if you are flexible, self-reliant, and like the small company atmosphere. Business is booming, yet the work ebbs and flows - sometimes I put in 50-60 hours - of my own volition - and sometimes I have plenty of time to study for certifications - which the company encourages and pays for.
People starting out here are provided with a decent salary - starting salaries are ok, but the fact is, if they perform, they are recognized and given regular raises. They also have ample opportunity to deal directly with clients and gain experience that they wouldn't get at other companies in the same role.
Right now, we have such an awesome culture - everyone works together, no one says "not in my job description", and there aren't any politics - everyone is willing to help one another rather than stepping on others to get ahead. There are so many business opportunities for a small company, I think our future is very bright. The culture is just awesome. Words that come to mind: transparent, nimble, and fast-paced.
Beyond that, the office and location are top-notch; we work with great tech; we work hard and play hard. I can't say enough positive things about the place.
Cons
The money could be better - but it could ALWAYS be better no matter what company we are talking about - small companies need to achieve a balance and I think this company is doing that.
