Pros
High-paced, challenging engineering environment with excellent benefits. Premiums are paid at 100% for employees and their families, flexible hours, 401k matching up to 10%. Extremely family-oriented. When personal issues arise, the company is more than willing to work with you and genuinely places the well-being of their employees and their employee’s families first. Geoff Miller (CEO) is approachable and willing to step in and work wherever needed in order to keep the business running smoothly.
Cons
The culture overall is a bit outdated, politically conservative and religious. It’s subtle enough for it not to be an HR violation, but obvious enough to know that more eclectic or progressive personalities would fare pretty poorly here. Roles outside of program management, business development and engineering are very limited, aren’t competitive in regards to salary, and offer virtually no opportunity for real growth. Diversity and inclusion efforts and tactics could also afford to be refined.
