Pros

Some interesting projects to work on. Colleagues were generally friendly and collaborative.

Cons

Horizontal Management Hindrance: The organization's horizontal management structure made it extremely challenging to advance professionally. There was a lack of clear career paths and opportunities for growth. This was frustrating, especially for those looking to develop their careers. HR Prioritizes Corporate Interests: Human Resources seemed more aligned with corporate mandates than with the well-being of employees. Personal well-being often took a back seat to the company's bottom line, which left employees feeling undervalued and unsupported. Burnout and No Support: After years of consistently delivering high-quality work, I experienced burnout. Unfortunately, when I needed support the most, I found myself without any severance or mental health aid upon being let go. This lack of consideration for employee well-being during such a challenging time was disappointing and disheartening. Overall, my experience at this company was marked by frustration and a lack of support for professional growth and personal well-being. I hope the organization takes steps to address these issues and create a more supportive and growth-oriented environment for its employees.

Poor work environment to work

Pros

They buy pizza on Christmas.

Cons

Worked there for over 3 years and never got a performance review and people with less experience are allowed to replace you by just becoming friends with the executives. I think You also need to be Venezuelan to get promoted or feel you are valued there. HR is only there to give pay stubs and termination papers, no real protection for employees. The executives create a work environment where everyone is to themselves and no real collaboration between teams is encouraged. There is always the fear of being fired, even if you are a committed and skilled employee. I guess that is how they keep people glued to their desks. They also ship all development and technology job to a latin america because they save from having to hire skilled developers here in the US. Aeropost.com is a real revolving door.
