Although we made a layoff during the recession, we did not make layoffs during the time that I suspect you worked here. More likely, you were seeing people who were terminated for cause. Aerospace is a dangerous business; we cannot keep employees who do not take aircraft safety 100% seriously. Multiple employees were terminated for safety-related issue not long before you posted this review. If you were one of them, I’m sorry that it upset you, but the human lives are more important than people’s egos. I will have to disagree with you that we start getting rid of people at the end of the project. The company takes huge losses to keep our employees on the payroll even when we do not know how long it will be until we have a major project. I agreed with and took to heart your advice to senior management. We have made major changes to our middle management during the past year. We have a much stronger culture, and I am sorry if you were treated with undeserved disrespect. We (I promise you) are doing much better.
