Pros
A fair amount of latitude in doing what's right for our customers, as far as implementation/customer management at least. Good company culture, co-workers are easy to get along with. Too much to do to have grudges or carry on about trivial things. Re-assement of pay in recent years makes compensation more competitive. CEO is great, affirming guy, someone who is able to be trusted and shoots straight. He's also bringing in his own people to upper-level roles - so far, so good, it seems. Extremely good overall employee communication, especially about the transition from McKesson to Aesynt. Business causal and jeans are OK in the Cranberry (main) office, they also have a gym and cafe there.
Cons
Lots of places have struggles between customer-facing teams, product management, and software development. Aesynt is no different. The twist here is that it's now a struggle between old and new stuff (being vague here, as this is a public forum). Let's just say that if you're role is on the old stuff, your short-term future is in question, and your long-term future is in doubt. If you're on the new stuff, you have a future and a shot at something that may prove worthwhile and beneficial at least, if not trend-setting. It really depends where you're at, and what you're willing to wait for or risk to try to get there - because it doesn't look like everyone and everything is making the cut. There is a lot of shifting, repositioning, redefining of roles at the present time - it remains to be seen how it will all shake out.
