This company used to be a fantastic place to work: talented people, a collaborative culture and plenty of opportunities to learn. Sadly, it is no longer the company it once was. Be cautious when reading the latest 5 star reviews. Do your own research and don’t rely solely on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. They are likely written by management itself; a common practice while I worked there. What is it like now? * A culture of fear and internal politics has replaced collaboration. People spend more time protecting themselves than helping each other succeed. * There is virtually no salary transparency, making it difficult to understand whether people performing comparable roles are being treated fairly. * Career development has largely stalled. Many of the strongest employees have left over the past few years, taking with them much of the knowledge and culture that once made the company special. * My own employment ended in litigation. Based on my experience and what I personally witnessed involving other former colleagues, employment disputes were far from unusual. If you ever find yourself in conflict with the company, understand your legal rights before signing anything and seek independent legal advise. * There is a significant gap between how the company presents itself to the outside world and what employees experience internally. Sales targets, marketing promises and client expectations do not align with operational reality. * Toxic place: Individuals contacted me expressing concern after my layoff, but I came away with the impression that those conversations were primarily intended to gather information that could later benefit the company during the legal proceedings. It permanently destroyed any trust that remained. If you are looking to grow your career, this is no longer the company to learn and evolve.
