Pros

Nice training facility. Paid 3 month training (32k). Lunches cooked for you daily in training. Only lasts 3 months.

Cons

This Pros list above is short lived. You will soon enter the reality of working in a dealership. Long hours, LOW LOW pay and ridiculous customers. If you are looking for a company with upward mobility look somewhere else. It will take 8-12 years to be promoted. There will have to be a new dealership open for you to get promoted to a management roll, or someone will have to die or retire. Sales is an absolute joke, you'll receive a base salary of 22k a year no matter where you get located. If you are large ag, sales are few and far between. Small ag and turf you don't make anything selling lawnmowers. There are a few exceptions but it is RARE you'll be very successful in sales. Pay is terrible so people are constantly getting turned over. Mechanics, service writers, salesman EVERYONE. If you have a college degree wait and you'll find something more rewarding career wise. Remember you'll be working in a DEALERSHIP and that doesn't look awesome. Be patient and find something better. Great job market right now. I lived it trust me. Any 4-5 star review is planted by the company.

-60 hour work weeks / 6 days a week -Pay is waaay below the industry standard - Sales Commission process is a joke ( always a back charge on commissions) -No Training and no room for growth -Always short staffed/ revolving door of employees -Ownership and Upper Management (clueless) -Lunch breaks and PTO is frowned upon -Benefits- You would think with the subpar pay the benefits would at least be decent....they're not! -Being taken advantage of. - Its worth listing again....the lack of training is horrendous!!!!

Pros

Fun coworkers if you're lucky.

Cons

So many. The pay is atrocious. If you want a meaningful raise, you pretty much have to show them a job offer you got elsewhere. Corporate doesn't care about you. It's all a numbers game. You might get lucky and get a good GM, but if their numbers aren't good, then they're out and you're stuck with a new clueless manager. Don't think you'll ever get a promotion, by the way. In all interviews, they say they promote from within. Hogwash. There's an internship program at the Corporate office that trains college age men to take the positions. Or they'll hire anyone who has ever sold a part or turned a wrench instead. God help you if you're a woman. You will get zero support if you get sexual harassment from a customer. "Strong on service" means that you have to sit there and take hell from anyone who has ever or will ever be a customer. If you value your mental or physical health at all, stay far away.
