Hello, I'm aware of who wrote this response. The writing style is a fingerprint. This is a barrage of incredibly hurtful statements. I wish for you to remove it and consider finding a less hurtful way to express yourself. The company and your colleagues (including me) did its best to work with you, support you, and guide you through a role you knew would require your best efforts in order to take on. You were offered severance, which you accepted, and you were offered post-termination support, which you accepted. Leaving this review and then making the statements you made later put a stain on a long-term relationship in which you and I both knew would be taking a chance. You expressed considerable gratitude for the position, regularly talked about how much you appreciated and enjoyed the company. You made statements about the vision of the company and your pride in being here. So to see you write this breaks my heart. Please consider removing this and sharing your thoughts with me over email or a letter. I take all feedback seriously, and, when necessary, personally. This doesn't have to be the way you leave your last words and have us remember you. I haven't let the team know about this review yet, because it will be obvious who it came from. You made a good effort and I want to recognize you for that. And you know I always acknowledge our shortcomings given the very big goals we set out for. But you and I know this was not the picture of the company that you're painting here. I'm so sorry things didn't work out. I really did believe in you. I hope you realize that you're better than this post, and consider taking it down. We will be fine if you leave it up, as the core team believes in what we're doing. But I don't wish for this to be how you're remembered. Ultimately, either way, I am sorry this didn't turn out to be the place you could call your professional home. We still were willing to work with you as a contractor after the dust settled. We made that offer, and I was sorry to see there wasn't enough time to sort that out before this review came along. This is an unprofessional and offensive review. The CEO is public about being neurodivergent. Taking a cheap shot at this says more about you than it does about him. You were given significant support, but you were ultimately terminated for not performing in your role or taking appropriate measures to reach the minimum standard. You were here for significantly less than the time stated. Had you been here that long, you would have acclimated to our culture and would likely not be making bigoted comments. We don't accept that in our company, and it's why DEI policies exist.
