Pros

If you're willing to put in the work of being a door to door salesman then you could potentially move up to their "leader" position and then to an "assistant manager" position and finally the "owner" position within the year. The people who work there are extremely nice and passionate which I admire since I could never be that passionate about being a door to door salesman. They try to keep the place very close and tight knit so you enjoy where you're working (since you will be there until 9 pm every day)

Cons

They give themselves 5 stars in everything so look for the real reviews like this one. There is more than one company and they're all brothers and sisters of a higher organization. The office will always be business professional but they take you out of the office (away from the new interviews) to change into clothing given to them by their client. Very sketchy. You don't really understand you're a salesman until you "hit the field" (go to a territory). They don't care for the signs posted outside of these locations (no trespassing, no loitering, no soliciting) and your safety is no real concern. The atmosphere is very cult like. The other offices visit your office to see how you're holding up. It's a pyramid scheme where the people above you are making money off of you. This is 100% commission. You will always start as an "entry-level" and it will be 100% commission with no benefits until you hit assistant manager. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but am even embarrassed to say I tried.

Reviewer, Although this was left in 2014, we wanted to take a moment and reply to your feedback. It's now 2023, and we are still in business, proving we are not a pyramid scheme. We understand entirely that our business and industry weren't what you were looking for, and we appreciate your feedback regarding our company culture and areas we could improve. While we don't agree with most of your review, we do hope you are doing well and have found a position better suited to your skill sets! Best, Management

Pros

Room for growth quickly and theres a young crowd. It is good for the people who get in early and open up a store even though it seemed the company moved in the other week.

Cons

Unprofessional culture and It is a marketing scam: It's door-to-door sales for "3 weeks" (probably more like 3 months). it's 100% commission so you're getting paid less than/close to the minimum wage without even knowing. Benefits is not even in the picture. there is no security with the company so if that doesn't bother you, I'm sure you can find a place with Agon. Overall, it is a SCAM. there are plenty of other companies just like this one. Look it up, they are called Multi-Level Marketing firms, or MLM. Its a pyramid scheme. Educate yourself before wasting your time

Hi there and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm sorry to hear that your overall experience wasn't a positive one, as that is always my goal for each member of our team, no matter how long he/she is with us. Regarding your characterization of my company being a scam, as the owner of this company, I respectfully have to offer up the facts. We are not a MLM or a pyramid scheme, as you suggest. In such a business, participants would be required to purchase a product and would be required to recruit individuals to make more money. They would also make money off of the individuals they recruited. I need to state officially for the record that neither are practices that my business engages in. We are proud to represent the largest energy retailer in the United States, and I can assure you that a corporation of their magnitude would have zero tolerance for illegal or shady business practices. Most importantly, I believe in integrity and honesty above ALL ELSE, so the type of business practices you describe would be against my character. I would be extremely interested in speaking with you over the phone or over coffee. If there are things that you believe that we can improve upon, I am always open-minded about ways that I can improve my business. I would welcome a phone call from you (you can reach me at (703) 821-2842) and I hope that I can do my part in mending this bridge with you. Best regards, Tarek people. 3/30 I’m still waiting for you to reach out . I don’t believe you ever worked for my company . Just to give you some knowledge If you'd like PROOF that we aren't a pyramid scheme, let's start here - with a definition. Pyramid schemes—also referred to as franchise fraud or chain referral schemes—are marketing and investment frauds in which an individual is offered a distributorship or franchise to market a particular product. The real profit is earned, not by the sale of the product, but by the sale of new distributorships. We have never, in almost 6 years, asked a single person to invest money into our company. It's the other way around - we invest in our people. Come forward and I’ll compensate you for your time. My number is 5712139009. Don’t be scared to come forward.
