Pros

Getting to work with adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Teach skills.

Cons

Being physically/sexually abused by clients with zero ramifications. Pays minimum wage without raises. Backbreaking work. Zero appreciation from management or ownership.

Absolutely horrible

Pros

The only positive was the consumers

Cons

The pay isn’t good enough for the amount of work required to provide a quality program for the consumers. Coworkers act like high school students, gossip and backstabbing abound here. The entire upper management team is r*cist. The owners only care about money. They don’t give two licks about the consumers they serve, let alone the staff making it all possible. The people in authority positions abuse their power and fire people for no reason other than deciding they don’t like that person anymore. The benefit package is so unaffordable, most the staff are still on Medi-Cal. For your own sanity, DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!
