Pros

Honestly this company was the best I have worked for. The collaboration opportunities between the different offices worldwide taught me lots of things and was a great perk to the role. My mentor and team were absolutely amazing and supportive and I still think about them every single day. If I just had a chance to go back I definitely would as I cant fault this company. The training period is intense and was a new world to me but it goes to show they really do invest in you and your product knowledge.

Cons

Long hours but this is said to you multiple times before signing a contract. Office hours were longer than usual hours which could definitely be reduced as you just end up working when your home anyways.

Thank you for your review and if your situation changes, definitely do get back in contact. We have a large number of returners across the group. Thanks Katie

Pros

Travel and average compensation are the main perks, the office is fairly nice and shows their aspirations. There is a personal trainer and on site gym, but you have to pay for the personal trainer and you can't use the gym until you have had a personal trainer session, which is expensive.

Cons

They think they are an international company but also think they are a personal family company. Unfortunately this means the chairman wields his power depending on his mood, he's in a bad mood? Better hide. Working hours are a lie, you will get fired if you don't work more hours then in your contract. Pay rises are none existent unless you threaten to quit. Job titles are meaningless they think it's a method of empowerment but don't realise having 3 team leaders, a manager, asst. manager, asst director and a director in a team of 10 is missing the point. Favouritism is rife, if they like you or you are attractive to the chairman you are safe, support the wrong football team? You won't make it.

I am disappointed that your concerns were not raised with me at the time as my door is always open and many of your concerns could have easily been explained. However, it sounds like the job really didn’t suit you.

Pros

Cool benefits, such as getting to see and fly on Private Jets and a month long training session in London.

Cons

-Heavy focus on cold calling -Required to visit people on your "list" 6 times a month, regardless of how many interactions you had with them, could be 2 phone calls where you find out they charter, and they want you to go and visit them. No customer is going to be open to someone visiting their office that they hardly know or need. -Majority of work is "outbound research" aka cold calling. There is a system where they get online leads, but people in management positions take them all/ take the good ones for themselves, and distribute the bad ones to the new employees. -A LOT OF OUT OF HOURS WORK. You will be expected to be "on call" week nights, weekends, holidays. No you do not get paid for this. Could be 2am on a Tuesday, and you'd be expected to work. And yes, you'd be expected to show up at 9 am for a full work day. -Only way to succeed in this company and role, is if accounts are handed to you. Most Senior people there have had accounts handed to them from people who left before them. If you don't get an account, your job is good as gone. -Very "clique" environment in the office, makes you feel very unwelcome.
