Pros

It's inside and you interact with many different people.

Cons

I worked for Airserv for approximately one month. On my third day, I was reassigned to assist the TSA at the security checkpoint. After two weeks, I was called after the completion of my shift and told my position no longer existed and that TSA had hired their own people. I am certain my manager knew this assignment would be temporary, but did not inform the employees who depended on a paycheck to provide for their families. It took them three weeks to provide me with the proper uniform, and I STILL haven't received my final paycheck, which according to Texas law was due on June 10th.

Pros

You get to meet alot of interesting people from around the world and they really do not care if you come to work or not. i did not go to work for about 2 weeks straight without calling in or anything and they did not say anything to me at all.

Cons

They do not pay enough for the hard work that we do. You would think pushing people in wheelchairs all day would be a simple job but, it's not. You have heavy passengers that you have to push up the steep jet ways from the airplane, a WHOLE lot of walking and going out of your way to please passengers and 9 times out of 10 they wont tip you. The managers, supervisors, etc all try to act like they are better than us when they get paid 7.25 just like we do. They just have a different title. The Delta agents talk down on you as if the wheelchair you push defines your intelligence. They ALWAYS mess up people's paychecks. If you are desperate for work i would recommend Air Serv, They literally hire anybody. Most of the people I work with had the same story. They just asked if they were hiring and they told them to come to orientation. No proof of GED or HSD or anything. But I wouldn't recommend it for long term employment.

Pros

If you like working with Airline Passengers then this job is for you. I stayed there as long as I did because I liked the people working there. You get to work with United Airlines and the TSA. I made some good friends working there. I learned so much about the airport and the Aviation Industry.

Cons

There is no work/life balance at all. You're not allowed to call off for any reason ( even when sick ). I've had my vacation be denied after it was all planned. And watch out for theft. Long hours of standing and being bored. Very few bathroom breaks. Passengers always argue with you when you're trying to do your job.
