Pros

Production workers were very nice, got to work with a lot of immigrants from different countries/cultures speaking different languages

Cons

1 Lots of cliques 2 lots of people who absolutely do nothing but never get in trouble 3 Really bad management, you get conflicting direction, they tell you to go slow and do a good job on monday, then friday its to cut corners here and take a shortcut there. They do not practice what they preach 4 Supposedly employee owned, but there are lots of backroom meetings where big decisions are made but you the lowly employee dont get any say 5 Low pay compared to other local jobs 6 No wage increases (this is the reason I left), there has been a pay freeze for like 4 years 7 Stingy time off/holiday/sick time rules. If you are hourly you have almost no time off, there are government holidays but not enough to get a break. To make it even worse they are always behind schedule so you are working overtime all week, then guess what, you are having to work saturday too 8 Supervisors cover themselves and do not stand up for their workers 9 Clueless sales people, they bring outside customers onto the line and feed them a bunch of lies, then when we cant deliver, its somehow our fault and we get in trouble 10 Revolving door of technical staff, they cant keep talented engineers and techs in the door because of the terrible culture, we have had some great techs and engineers but they always leave because of the bad managers and supervisors always trying to get them in trouble 11 dead end job, unless you are friends with a boss you are stuck, you arent going to get promoted or a raise 12 many many more

Pros

They have decent health care. The few that are nice there are worth working with.

Cons

Harassment runs rampant in this company, they allow some of their long term employees to basically get away with murder. . They would rather keep the people harassing other people around due to this being employee owned. They Promise raises when you move to a different pay grade area and you don't see any increase for going on three months or more when the new area you work at is supposed to pay way more. They enjoy taking full advantage of you without giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Pros

1. Coworkers are all nice and easy to get a long with. I have formed many of friendships with current and former employees. 2. You are allowed 2 leave earlies and 2 come in lates a month without counting against you.

Cons

1. Way underpaid. They make the argument that you are getting paid a fair amount based on other companies in this city. But there are not a lot of contract manufacturers in the city. They do not take into account surrounding areas. 2. They micromanage you to death! 3. No one knows how to properly schedule products with their customers. Because of this, you are always on overtime. And usually it is mandated. 4. Career advancement in this company sucks! They tend to hire outside of the building. 5. Because the company is ESOP, they say you are an employee owner. But you have no voice what so ever on what goes on with the company. ESOP is nothing more than a sham and a way for the company to get tax breaks. And it eliminates the possibility of unions. 6. They preach about we are all a team. But when push comes to shove, upper management is much more comfortable being in their offices instead of going out onto the floor and getting to know each employee and helping out.
