Pros
Managers and below are wonderful, fulfilling way to be a part of your community, job stability if you can hold on, accrue PTO over time.
Cons
The administration is unable to keep a leadership team together. You will watch anyone who comes from outside of the district run for the hills or get fired in 6 months if it's an administrative position. The director and public services administrator will make unilateral decisions regardless of professional staff input and are beginning to censor programs. There is no flexibility in hours, and staff are intimidated if they disagree with administration and express it even through official channels. The director has no problem yelling at anyone like a naughty child. I saw senior managers in tears after meetings with administration. The HR Director referred to transgender employees as having made 'lifestyle choices.'
