I have been working at Alaska Airlines full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Cautious and reliable company, good work environment, great coworkers, flexible schedule after the first year or so

    Cons

Not a lot of bases, only along west coast, hard to adjust to flight attendant lifestyle, first year or so is rough before you establish seniority. But much better and faster than most other airlines in the US

I worked at Alaska Airlines full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Travel perks. That is it.

    Cons

I was asked after getting hired by the person who trained me "How dumb are you?" This was asked of me in front of two of my coworkers after I asked what I thought was a reasonable follow up question. I was told a week prior to that by the actual person who hired me that they were concerned as to if I could do the job or not. I explained that I was having technical issues and was falling behind because of them. I of course was not believed and told to step it up. A month later I was told by the same person who hired me "You really surprised me" when my supervisor realized I could actually do the job I was hired for. I again explained the technical issues I was having, and again wasn't taken seriously. Two years later, after successful doing the job where I was asked how dumb I was and told by the person who hired me that they doubted my ability, I finally had enough and quit. I'm actually upset with myself for staying so long, this company was not worth the time and effort I gave them.
