Extreme flexibility of schedule and shifts, very warm welcoming and kind community, great employees and team, personal office, hybrid remote, great work-life balance

Cons

Family owned so distribution of pay isn't relative to the workload, lots of random odd jobs tasks and expectations placed on non-family or family-friends (dispatching, quotes/rates/contracts, shift planning, company calendar, client relations, etc. etc. etc.) while others have little to no workload essentially hanging around the office.

$13 hour pay for the first year, with a safety bonus every month for not accidents. Next year is $15 if you come back. Made roughly $100 in tips per week.

Cons

Long work hours. Worked on sundays, and worked roughly 50-70 hours per week.

Super fun job, great tip opportunities, the very best coworkers

Cons

Managment is decent depending on what city youre in (run, run from Juneau). They let go the best manager in Ketchikan but the new one is ok. The owners when you meet them are super fake and kind of rude. Inconsistent work sometimes, depends on ships Passengers can be extremely difficult sometimes
