Pros

There's nothing special here. Avoid!

Cons

Avoid AlertEnterprise! It's a pretty mediocre company that doesn't have anything going for it. Your job will be a dead-end job while you also suffer from the exhausting shifts and brutak work hours during peak seasons. Another issue here is that many of our leaders are very unprofessional, and they're never supportive or encouraging.

Pros

Pay is decent, and employees receive a couple of health benefits, but beyond that there is very little positive to say about AlertEnterprise.

Cons

- High employee turnover driven by toxic and abusive management - Management shows complete disregard for employee well being - Decisions are driven purely by profit, even at the expense of staff - No recognition or appreciation for hard work - Employees are immediately yelled at and degraded after mistakes - Mistakes are met with blame, not support or guidance - Workplace environment is hostile and emotionally draining - Culture feels demoralizing and unsustainable long term - Employees made to feel incompetent and worthless under pressure

Pros

Some of the engineers were actually competent and didn't make everything about politics, which honestly was the only saving grace.

Cons

They sold me the vision in interviews – scaling, real mentorship, building actual architecture instead of constant firefighting – and I believed them because they seemed to mean it. First few months you think it's real, then you realize it's just the recruiting pitch. You're doing the same exhausting work they promised was temporary, watching junior people leave because there's no clear path forward, and every conversation about the future loops back to the same constraints. Two years of that grinds you down. By the end you stop taking anything leadership says seriously, which is depressing because you actually wanted this to work out.
