Toxic working environment with no room for growth

Pros

None, as this is a company which pretends to be a school and is really no educational quality.

Cons

The two owners of the college pretend to run this college like a "real college" In reality, it is focused on profit and taking advantage of international students

Pros

- they tend to hire excellent lower-paid employees. Everyone on a non- manager level (and one or two managers) were absolutely wonderful. We all banded together in a toxic work environment and I have some incredibly close friends from the experience - possibility to move up quickly if in the right position, and are able to show results (received many promotions and raises in the 2 years I worked there)

Cons

- incredible toxic environment. I and others were harassed in the workplace in so many ways - hemorrhages good people due to poor and harassing management - sketchy behavior on behalf of the owners and some of the high-end managers - very poor compensation, worst possible benefits

Losing their Grip

Pros

The staff outside of management teams are very close knit, cordial and genuinely dedicated to their work. It is routine to make fast friendships here, and generally enjoy the day-to-day workload. If you are a fresh university graduate with little to no administrative experience, this is a good first step to learn the ropes

Cons

There aren't many places to grow, and recently trust towards job security has been low. There are a lot of staff members who will suddenly no longer be in the office, either due to sudden terminations or because they have quit due to overwork, management attitudes, or general stress. Tensions are currently high. Don't expect to grow in your career here past an entry to mid level position.
