Top-heavy corporate structure, inflexible management, poor attitude of some tenured engineers, uncompetitive salaries, poor benefit coverage, very little room for advancement, essentially zero talent acquisition, cliquish workgroups, heavy workload, short deadlines, high stress, open office environment is noisy and disruptive, frequent interruptions for trivial issues or tasks.

Free snacks. Great colleagues. Ability to move up. CEO is very compassionate and dedicated to his company, clients and employees. SJ office is open space employees are friendly and many have been there a long time. We have half day fridays once a month. Match 401k is good.

Not really as flexible as they say they are. Top heavy especially in SF. Not enough employees. Technology and systems used is archaic. Managers need to go through harassment training because they constantly belittle employees and there's no rewards just criticism. Benefits needs lots of improvement, costs too much and not even good. Need more people in administration. Some people are overworked.

AlfaTech has been one of the best experiences of my life. Every single person in this company has their own place or value unlike many other firms. This type of a culture has been instilled by the upper management and of course the CEO, Jeff Fini. All the partners and principals really do care about their teams and genuinely want everyone to do well. This is a company where young engineers can learn from some of the most experienced principals and can boast about working for some of the biggest names in the Bay Area, maybe even the US. I have witnessed this company grow immensely over the past few years. The growth is shown by the success of our LA office. The benefits and everything else are great too! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking become a leader in the industry by working on the best projects.
