Pros

The pay in the district is fantastic. There are many ways to make more money there (clubs/sports/tutoring), and you can live comfortably on your salary. If all you care about is money, and you can handle a terrible and toxic work environment, then this is the district for you!

Cons

The administration is 100% disengaged. They will never help you out, you'll never be able to reach them, and your students will never see them in the classroom. The coaches do their job when it's convenient for them. There are no counselors, and the behavior system is poor. The lack of leadership creates a dysfunctional work environment.

Pay is good, offer a lot of professional development and coaching for teachers. District also offers a lot of supplies for teachers and students.

Cons

All meetings (IEPs, staff meetings, grade-level meetings, content meetings, SFA reading meetings) are all scheduled outside of school hours. It's very typical for teachers to come in at 7am and not leave until 5 or 6pm everyday.
