Pros

Working from home Work-Life Balance Free Alcohol (how bad it is that this is a pro of working on this company!) Kitchen fully equipped People are really friendly (excluding Management) Diversity

Cons

-They have no idea what they are doing. Management is a group of high-up people who don't listen to their staff and for that reason, everyone is leaving in mass (happening in every continent: APAC, EMEA and NA). -Toxic environment - everyone is trying to find their way out. You can hear people complaining about management and what's happening openly around the office. No one is happy. -Compensation it is a joke. People is exploited and paid around 30% less than market average. -No education, career development, training or any support provided. You need to navigate your way through and be able to understand the politics, otherwise you will be in the same position forever if you decide to stay. -There is no transparency in the company - even they started new initiatives to do this there is still a lack of transparency. For example, if someone leaves the company no one says anything. If you get to know it is by rumours or because you are friend of that person. -HR is so incompetent! They are clearly not working for the staff. They don't do anything with the feedback provided and just work on initiatives passed by the management. Staff is really unhappy, and they don't address the situation. -They keep hiring incompetent people that it is not even showing up to work. Other staff raised this a lot of times as we need to backfill those roles, however, no one is doing anything about it. (You need to think this people win more than $120K a year and people with salaries 60% less are doing their jobs as they are not going to work) - A lot of tenure people left last year, and now there is a lack of knowledge, especially with legacy clients. - Micromanagement at it's best! Management it is looking closely at what you are doing and are ready to point fingers if you do something wrong. They recently purchased a tool for their client-facing teams where they need to log EVERY single conversation they have with clients or internally. If you don't log anything or don't have a conversation, they start chasing you no matter what else you are doing. On meetings, you can't even look at your PC screen or answer a phone call as they start calling you out in front of everyone. Seriously, it is ridiculous how much they micromanage in this company.

On behalf of our CEO, Scott Miller: Dear Current Employee, Thank you for taking the time to write about your frustration. I am sorry that you are having such a negative experience at our company. You always have access to Tara, myself and any member of the Exec. You also have sound-off and Transparent Thursdays as forums to voice and discuss your frustration and recommendations on how we can improve. I hope you feel comfortable using them. I’m sure you appreciate the scope of transformation that we have gone through as we have shifted from a services dominated model to a SaaS model. At times that change has been scary, confusing and frustrating, particularly given that mistakes have been made. We remain proactive in acknowledging those mistakes, as there is no playbook for what we have accomplished. Many colleagues have thrived through that journey and the increasing value that we are delivering to our progressive customers is well documented. You see the stories in our town halls, on the Wins channel, on our website and even here on Glass Door. Recently we have tried to add leaders who have been where we are heading. Their unique leadership styles have helped drive the scope of change required. But clearly from your post, some of us need to do better. Our multiple channels of open communication are our effort to do so. You care enough to take the time to write a review. I hope you will take the time to engage one of the execs or senior leaders so that we can help you have the positive impact that you want to have at Vision Critical. Scott Miller CEO
