Cons

I joined Aligned Automation as a consultant with high hopes, but what I experienced was an absolute nightmare. This company is a classic example of how bad management and toxic culture can destroy employee morale and productivity. False Promises on Work Culture During the interview and onboarding, HR clearly told me it was a hybrid model — I would need to come to the office only 2-3 times a week. The moment I joined, that promise vanished. They created constant pressure and guilt-tripping around working from home. Comments like “What work will he/she even do from home?” became common. Eventually, everyone was forced to come in daily. Extremely Toxic and Micromanaged Environment The office atmosphere is suffocating. People are constantly watching each other. The worst offender is a Senior Director (well-known internally) who roams the floor like a hawk, peering into cubicles. His most irritating habit? He has a big cabin but chooses to walk around the passages and shout loudly on phone calls so the entire floor can hear his conversations. Zero professionalism and terrible manners from senior leadership. Complete Lack of Structure and Process There is zero structure in how work is assigned or managed. One day you’ll be given an urgent task with unrealistic deadlines, forced to work late nights and weekends. Once you submit it after burning yourself out — radio silence. No feedback, no acknowledgment, nothing. They just move on to the next “emergency.” Upper management (Directors and above) fails at their basic job — creating structure, managing client expectations, and protecting their teams. Instead, they put all the pressure on employees. Client Dependency and Spineless Management Nearly 80% of the company’s revenue comes from a single client — Dell. The way management behaves with them is embarrassing. Dell treats the company like dirt, and instead of pushing back or negotiating properly, leadership bends over backwards to please them. Internal meetings are never about improving quality or processes — they’re only about “How can we make the client happy?” This is not a consulting company; it feels like a desperate service vendor with no backbone. HR Practices Are Cruel If a project ends and you’re on the bench, they immediately put you on PIP and push you out the door. No proper notice, no support, nothing. They hire people in bulk and fire them just as quickly. Meanwhile, they glorify toxic work habits — working late nights, weekends, and long hours. If you don’t participate in this hustle culture, you’re made to feel like you’ve committed a crime. Basic Office Issues Even when you do come to the office daily as forced, finding a seat is a struggle. Seniors have “fixed” seats, and you can be asked to vacate your place anytime if a director wants to sit there. Final Verdict: This is not a company — it’s a pressure cooker with zero respect for employees’ time, mental health, or career growth. Management is weak, unprofessional, and incompetent. Processes are nonexistent. The culture is toxic and hypocritical. Strongly recommend: Do not join Aligned Automation. If you value your peace of mind, work-life balance, and basic professional dignity — stay far away.
