Pros

*Unlimited PTO, even if they wouldn’t call it that internally. * Flexible time so if you need to do an appt during the day, you can schedule around it. * Some coworkers are super chill. *

Cons

*Theres this really bad mentality from management that you need to say yes to whatever the client says, regardless of what it is. This creates a very bad work environment that leads to employees being overworked. *Bonus structure is archaic and based on metrics set and controlled by management. They try to tell you that you can influence them when in truth, you can’t. * No training or further trainings provided. Management mindset is “do it yourself on your own time”. *Severely underpaid vs industry standards. *Management overwhelms account team with clients and provides little to no support. When employees ask for help or speak openly about not feeling appreciate internally, management takes it as a serious offence to them personally. *CFO routinely doesn’t invoice clients on time and it’s up to the account team to chase it *Certain long time employees throw others under the bus and are flat out rude to others. They have been reported yet nothing has changed or been done about it.

Thank you so much for your candid feedback about your experience at AIM. The feedback we get from current and former team members and clients is what helps us grow and improve. Over the past six months, we have seen some exciting changes here at AIM. We were acquired by Vision7 International in October 2020 and, as part of this larger group, we’ve been able to lean on its infrastructure, experience and processes to bring some positive changes to our own teams. We have moved from a freelancer/contractor model to a traditional employee model -- allowing us to offer our team members health benefits, training /skill development courses, leadership training and a robust team engagement and performance platform. We have streamlined processes around legal and finance. We have adjusted our compensation model to ensure we’re aligned with the digital agency landscape and are focusing on bringing on the right people as we grow. AIM is a people-first company, and our leadership team works hard to ensure our team has the support, tools and flexible time off to maintain the right work-life balance, and ensure that both our teams’ and our clients’ needs are being met. If you have questions about how AIM is working to set the standard of excellence for our team and our clients, we’d be happy to share more with you. Please reach out to me personally at sarah.bundy(at)allinclusivemarketing.com to connect. Thank you, Sarah Bundy, CEO, All Inclusive Marketing Inc.

Pros

The flexibility of working from home means there's a great work/life balance at AIM. The team is collaborative and engaged even with large geographical distances between them. I love the team brainstorming sessions and the knowledge sharing that takes place every day at AIM. It's a very inclusive environment.

Cons

Working remotely means we don't get to meet many of our teammates in person so it would definitely be great to get a chance to do that. That being said we've recently begun using video chat for more internal calls and that has helped me feel more connected to people.

One of the things we love about our team is that they are so inclusive and collaborative. Being able to openly share ideas, brainstorm, support each other, cheer each other on, etc, is a big part of what makes us evolve and grow as individuals and team. We are so happy that has been your experience to date, and we look forward to continuing building a company and environment where people can learn, grow and thrive.
