Pros

It's a challenging job, I was constantly learning something new. I didn't worry about my sales numbers but I was consistently at the top. Most of your customers are senior farmers who have a story to tell. I'm a sucker for nostalgia so I enjoyed that. Most parts are either new versions or are not available so you have to get creative to replace it. I thought it was so satisfying when I would look for a part for days and then out of nowhere somehow it just drops in your lap from one of the resources you cultivated. I picked up the job really quickly for the most part. There's so much to learn and so many resources to help. There are lots of benefits, 401k matching, and lots of discounts with big companies like T-Mobile.

Cons

When I was there I was hired by a newish manager and she loved me and how fast I was learning at first. Then, after awhile I was all of a sudden doing everything I had been doing the whole time wrong. So, I would check with her before sending out a request or something and she would tell me it was right and then it would come back wrong and I would be reprimanded. My orders would be canceled while I was placing them. I wouldn't be allowed to call my customers back but everyone else could. My customers loved me and I would go the extra mile and they would request me and it would be shut down. It got to the point where I was crying every day. I could not sleep at night over anxiety of going in in the morning. I would show up 20 min early and sit in the parking lot until I was late. It was horrible. I eventually got fired and black listed. That's the saddest part. I loved the job and was good at it. That manager is no longer there but it's too late.
