Where to begin?
First- I was promised a position that was later rescinded or demoted after I had started not but one week into the company. I left my previous job to work with them and I was excited. I went to orientation and signed an offer letter stating what job I would be doing. I start and not a week goes by and they decide to go a different route and tell me that I am staying as a technician in the call center. I need to look into this but I feel like this was illegal. Everything else went downhill from there.
Second -You are micromanaged to the very end of you. You can't talk to your fellow coworkers. You can't go to the restroom when you like. If you want to take a break, they look at you like your head's been cut off, so you're a little hesitant to ask them. It feels like your kindergarten and they treat absolutely everyone like this whether you're old or young. The team leads and management are so condescending. During my interview, I should have known how it was going to be. I think they even warned me that it may not be for me because during my interview they asked me to come for a shadow day so that they can see if you will fit in with them and if you will like it. That should have been a clue because if someone has the qualification and even a degree why would you need to do a shadow (unpaid by the way)? However doing the shadow day they did not show anything of what was to come.
I urge anyone especially with a college degree that you, not waste your time with this company. They don't pay enough for you to be treated like an idiot or uneducated. If you're a Pharm Tech, work in CVS rather than this place, the pay may not be great but you will have your sanity.
I left after a couple of weeks mostly because of an emergency but I knew after that even I could not return. This was the shortest job I had but the most everlasting. I cannot really put into words how unhappy I was. If you feel unhappy, don't just sit there and take it, get up and walk away.
