Pros

Good People over all the County Jobs are stable and as long as your not a complete dip wad you won't get fired. You may lose your job due to politics however

Cons

the politics of who moves up and who moves around is just silly. The county government is not a huge deal but to some of the people it's like they think there setting real world changing policy

Pay for VSO's in general is not great so this is not the job for you if you need a high salary to survive.
