Just save yourself a headache

Pros

The benefits are not bad. Doctors are lovely when they want to be.

Cons

Too many chefs and not enough cooks. Upper management does not know how to manage across the country. Lack of support from ROMs and resources are not completed to help complete your tasks. When you ask questions, they refer to APNet to find the resources, but the system is too complicated, and asking questions is forbidden. Your hands are bound if you do something and slapped if you don't do anything. Extremely hypocritical politics and policies.

Pros

Pay is decent. Hours are good.

Cons

Benefits are HORRIBLE. Insurance is horrible. Deductible very high, no choices, only offers 1 plan-and it’s a bad one. Paid time off is very limited, earning PTO is so sad that my spouse says “I’ll guess I’ll go on vacation without you” as my spouse literally earns twice as much PTO as I do, plus PTO resets each year, SO YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN NEGATIVE balance the first part of the year, plus no carry over or saving for a big vacation. Corporate leadership will be their downfall.

Terrible Management

Pros

Remote work is nice, but the lack of training makes it hard to be independent

Cons

Training is horrendous and chaotic. The first week you do absolutely nothing because the team lead didn't have time to train, then on the second week they are ready to throw you to the wolves. I was told "management wants people independent on week 2" When you are new to a specialty ( which means new codes and new rules) it takes time to get someone trained. I am very disappointed on the training and would not recommend working there unless you know allergy coding and their EMR's. Management should re-consider the team lead you have training people.
