      Ambitious Workforce, Indecisive Leadership

      Pros

      Small internal team culture is great and middle management will have your back. Long grace period for mistakes and learning, however you will not be trained on how to effectively perform your role, have to learn through trial and error.

      Cons

      Upper management changes company direction like a pendulum. Lot of research is conducted just for the sake of producing research, not providing tangible value for readers. As a smaller firm, analysts are required to wear many hats, many of which don't fit

      Good place to work for and start your carer

      Pros

      Can take initiative with research and manage projects. Allows an analyst to be creative. Good work culture and acommodating ledership.

      Cons

      Sales isn't the best to work with. They will ask you to wear many hats which at times at be a bit too many hats.

      Misaligned expectations and stale management

      Pros

      Research staff below the VP level are all great people, the work can be very interesting depending on your team, and work life balance also can be very good depending on your team. Exit opps are good if you get out early due to the significant amount of responsibility they give junior analysts.

      Cons

      Understaffed HR with a poor understanding of modern HR practices, executive management that struggles with effective communication and has had several instances of discriminatory language (inc. racism, sexism, …), and negative growth has led to poor salaries for new joiners and stagnation in promotions and pay bumps for others
