Pros

The company parties were fun to go to most of the time. Prizes at the parties were always cool. The CEO and COO were always easy to work with.

Cons

At first it was great. I enjoyed being part of a team that collaborated like a team. They sell the dream of “being a positive work environment, being the best place to work in Houston.” If you aren’t a favorite of the SLT team, you will get pushed to the side. HR takes a long time to investigate situations brought to them, or they’ll pretend it never happened. There is no room for advancement. WFH is looked down upon. Work life balance doesn’t exist. They’ll make you feel guilty for taking PTO. For company/holiday parties, everyone used to look forward to the food bc it was well prepared and thought out. But when the new lady took over, the food is cold bc she does the bare minimum, and would order it TWO HOURS before the party starts and the food SITS there. When the lady before her ordered it, she always did a great job! Leadership is always in meetings making it extremely difficult to have a few minutes with them. If you send an email to HR, you’ll get a response two weeks to over a month later.
