Pros
Pivoting into agentic AI space which is much different than original direction but intentional given the times. Like most early stage startups, moves quickly and adapts often. Strategy evolves as new information and market signals come in, and leadership tries to be open and transparent about why and how decisions are made. Communication is direct and feedback goes both ways. This is a performance-oriented environment with high expectations and a strong focus on accountability. That can be energizing for people who enjoy autonomy and problem-solving but it may feel uncomfortable for those looking for a slower or more structured workplace. Overall a solid place to learn and contribute meaningfully if you’re aligned with the pace and stage of the company.
Cons
With these changes, there's been some reshuffling of teams and folks were impacted. Turnover exists (as it does in many startups) but it’s not arbitrary. Strong emphasis on performance and fit - for the role, stage and the drive required. The upside is that strong performers are trusted quickly, given responsibility, and recognized for their impact. If you want stability above all else, this probably isn’t the place. But if you want to learn fast, work closely with leadership, and help shape a company in real time, this can be a rewarding and honest environment.
