I strongly advise staying away from Allurion if you value career stability, fair pay, and a healthy work environment.
This company has a disturbing habit of conducting layoffs almost every quarter, creating a constant sense of insecurity. The pay scale is significantly below market standards, even for experienced professionals. Incentives are laughable — around €100 per quarter — and after taxes, you’re left with next to nothing.
Upper management is disconnected from reality and lacks a clear vision. Priorities change on a whim: a project can be labeled “top priority” one month, and just as you near completion, it’s suddenly “no longer needed.” Meanwhile, leadership is overpaid while those doing the actual work face relentless pressure and poor treatment.
Benefits are virtually nonexistent — no restaurant cards, no meaningful perks, and the company-provided health insurance is extremely basic.
Overall, there is no stability, no proper recognition, and no genuine investment in employees. Working here will drain your motivation and morale.
My advice: stay away.
