Limited health insurance benefits, poor management, little flexibility, poor pay, stressful workload, poor communication between management and employees.
I learned so much and enjoyed playing an integral role in patient care
Cons
Rotating shifts were horrible, workload completely unfair, management was bad but since has changed, They did not appreciate us whatsoever while working in a pandemic and I was constantly put in dangerous situations. TERRIBLE pay for the work that you are doing
Senior management makes it clear that we are all replaceable. They cut costs by providing us with inferior PPE, only give up to a 1% wage increase per year, and did not provide ANY additional pay for Frontline workers during this pandemic. Yet our CEO spent over a million dollars to change our name from Douglas County Hospital to Alomere Health. Legally we ARE STILL Douglas County Hospital DBA (doing business as) Alomere Health. We ARE still a county hospital yet Senior management was embarrassed by this!
