Rewarding work with brilliant colleagues, but poor management support.
Pros
- Brilliant people completing difficult work across all departments. - The work was tough but rewarding. - Clients and referees were incredibly kind on the whole. - Puts you in touch with some other great local organisations. - A small and local organisation that emphasises grassroot projects. - Great training modules are offered to assist with your work and to help fill knowledge gaps.
Cons
- The redundancy process is really poor, in which little to no effort is put into you remaining with the company in a different position. - Following redundancy there is no checkup on you as an individual, you are forgotten the moment you leave. - Managers reap the benefits of people doing difficult grassroot work. - Communication across departments can be difficult due to changing environments. - Managers do little to support you. - Senior management structure is ineffective.
