Avoid this company like the plague - definition of toxic
Pros
- Shout to the investment team - y’all are a solid group. My coworkers are the only reason I stuck it out for a year.
Cons
- Run by a man who rules with an iron fist, with intimidation, etc. Will seem so uplifting in group settings but an absolute nightmare in private meetings. I will hopefully never meet another man like him. - said person has instilled a toxic culture that is unlike anything I’ve ever seen - say goodbye to your nights and (often) weekends - constantly shifting job titles and responsibilities and unreal expectations to match the constant changes - constantly changing policies although there hasn’t been an unofficial underwriting policy since 5/11 - in a nutshell, nobody knows what is going on - egos run rampant here - investment team is the doormat/punching bag despite being the hardest working group here
