Upper management cared more about bringing money in. Always made it sound like payroll wasn’t going to be met. Employees always wondered if our payroll checks were going to bounce. Didn’t care about employee morale. They can’t figure out why employees are leaving.

The pay wasn't very good. Coworkers were all female and there was a lot of gossip and backbiting going on in the billing department. Family owned business, so all of the people in upper management were family, which means there's nowhere to move up in this company past mid-management level. Not really any raises given unless you're promoted. Management pushes billers to continue to outperform themselves every month. Seemed to stressful for my taste.
