Below industry average Pay and Benefits
Senior Leadership tells people all the time how lucky they are to have a job here and pay shouldn’t be of importance but instead you should be passionate and grateful about being here.
HR completely uninterested in well-being of employees. If you raise a concern, you will be the one who is looked at badly while senior leadership are protected. HR is purely a protection mechanism for the company itself.
Completely unprofessional behind closed doors.
Pretend publicly to care about equality but it’s all for show and only in countries where the law actually upholds these standards - work in any location where discrimination is not taken seriously by law and you will find it is rampant from the top down.
If your company was acquired by Altair, watch out. You will work your butt off and demonstrate loyalty, commitment, humility and eagerness to learn and integrate with the old school business and in return you’ll be groomed and falsely promoted while you handover all your knowledge to try to help the business win. In return, you’ll be ridiculed, put down, used as a scapegoat so a friend or relative of leadership can take your place as soon as they believe they have gleaned whatever they can from you. It happens over and over again. People with big egos who have been promoted get all cocky and overconfident with their newfound success, not realising their turn is coming too.
It’s a horrible leadership culture. There are some lovely people working here but if you actually care about the company and clients and want to make a positive impact, you will not be satisfied here. In fact these qualities will make you vulnerable.
