Pros

They will train you and it's easy stop move somewhere else. Just get out before they wear you down.

Cons

More workload than staff can reasonably accommodate Nobody cares anymore Morale is at an all time low and I was there under previous ownership They'd rather keep paying to train people due to high turnover than pay the employees they have Lack of equipment. They had grand visions to scale up quickly but have not increased any equipment. We actually have less due to damage and its getting to the point where short people dont even have stools available so they can do their work, yet it's still expected to get done. They force us to use dirty equipment because they have more studies than we can reasonably manage with our resources All they care about is their image and marketing. There isnt one person smiling in my old department most days. Yet that's what their ads show. This is so bad to the point they actually made it more difficult to work. They loaded data collection tablets with their company screensaver. Cue a bunch of tablets dying way too early since it was eating battery. That much vanity is bound to get them into trouble. I hear they throw great expensive parties at conferences. Too bad we never see any of that. Mandatory meetings where they tell you how much money they are making but have no intention of reinvesting in employees despite countless promises. They promised us a raise in spring and that kept us quiet but then it was 16-32 cents which is just insulting Good employees keep getting more work tacked on, poor ones are just left around leeching on everyone Do not apply here if you value your sanity or you are a high performer. They stifle high performers by overloading them until they crack. It's so bad employees joke about it all the time in a sad way.

Pros

nice co-workers, good team work and spirit of helping each other

Cons

I worked at algo as a lab analyst, I had le part-time contract but I was working 50-60 hours a week. I didn't have time to see family memebers or have a life. The amount of work is huge and they harass analysts to do extra time and work during the week-ends. They don't have any Health and Safety Awareness taraining for analysts. They just use you and throw you away when you get harmed. They don't even inform analysts about the riks that theyare facing while doing their jobs (all kinds of tendinitis, peripharial neuropathy).

Pros

Some fun people to work with, a decent place to learn the ropes for clinical research.

Cons

Horrible management, no schedules for my department until the day before, micromanagement of everything you do, no communication between departments or even your own supervisors, pay isn't worth the amount of stress they put on you. You're expected to do more work and have more responsibility than is humanly possible. If you miss something you can get fired, if someone complains about you, you can get fired without being able to defend yourself even if they lied about it. High stress on all levels, no enough people for the workload that is needed and management refuses to hire more people to help and those they do hired are often majorly unqualified for their positions. This place plans to get busier and busier as the new building gets done and expects their employees to keep piling on the work with no extra help. No bonuses, and tiny raises if you even get one. Pay is massively under the industry average.
