Altavian has become the opposite of its previous self. Employees who have stuck around long enough are plagued by attrition and converse mostly of complaints against the company. Communication is a foreign concept at Altavian. There is consistent confusion among departments as to what is happening and employees live in fear of all-hands meetings. When out-of-state management comes through, everyone assumes it’s bad news and many don’t even understand what they’re talking about because we don’t know what the company is trying to do. As others have mentioned here, Altavian is crippled by nepotism. Your worth as an employee is dependent on your relationship with one person. If you’re a “bro” then you get special treatment. If you're not, then you're ignored or criticized. Conflict resolution is impossible as there is literally no HR department at the company. The person you speak to about problems is the person who causes most of the problems. It’s beyond a joke and has become a toxic environment that is feeding on its own sadism.

1. Frat culture is everywhere in the office. If you aren’t being valued by management as an essential personnel, no respect or attention will be given. 2. Leadership is very stiff and unwelcoming, making the culture very toxic. 3. The leadership are very condescending to workers, ignorant about technology specification, and very much lack of vision. The philosophy of the leadership seems to be getting things done quick but not getting things done right. Loads of promises, but lack the staff and know-how to fulfill these promises.
