      Pros

      I’ve found Altera to be a genuinely rewarding place to work. The company’s commitment to employee well-being is evident through an internal engagement committee, a wealth of benefits and a collaborative and supportive culture The flexibility, including fully remote work options, and the emphasis on work-life balance make it easier to thrive both professionally and personally. While no workplace is perfect, Altera’s dedication to its people and its mission to elevate healthcare makes it a great place to grow and contribute. I’d recommend it to anyone who values impactful work and a supportive environment.

      Cons

      Internal systems feel a bit antiquated and not as progressive as you’d expect from a tech company, which can occasionally slow down processes. While not bureaucratic, modernising these systems could enhance efficiency.

      Terrible leaders who have no respect

      Work from home. Decent pay.

      Cons

      Leadership is happy to shred employees in public in front of other employees. A "don't let the door hit you in the a@# on the way out" mentality. Toxic culture. Old technology and no $ to spend on the new platform. Layoffs coming, hiring freeze now.
