Pros

Remote work, and flexible hours.

Cons

Woof, where do I begin. From my interactions with the CEO as well as the CEO's interactions with the team as a whole, he has zero, and I mean zero integrity. He will say one thing, do another, and will often make extremely insensitive remarks or jokes that would not fly at any other company. It's good to be the king I guess. His experience in leadership is limited. His experience in sales is suspect. He thinks very highly of himself, and if you are looking to be able to provide input and make an organization better with your ideas, you will be wasting your time. Things are done his way or no way. He has a distinct pro-sdr presence on LinkedIn, but as with much of social media, it is a facade. He does not at all pratice what he preaches. If you are looking to build skills as an SDR, this is not the place for you. This is what amounts to being a call center. You will be given a script and you will be "graded" each week basically on how well you perform the script. There is little in regard to learning essential functions of prospecting, learning how to find the right person, or really learning how best to get the attention of the targetted company. You call the prospects you are given and try to book them or get a referral. If you don't you move on. The "work" is mind-numbing. You will have 0 creative or stylistic control over how you approach a call. On top of that, as you have little creative control, there will be times where you will just feel sleazy. There were times during my tenure that the client was unaware of a specific operation, and when that operation came to light, the client was very offended/concerned that AltiSales was conducting business in such a way. You are "taught" what I personally feel are very slimy sales tactics that are very much transactional and impersonal. I guarantee you that you can do better than this company. It does have its perks if you have 0 ambition and just need a paycheck, but ultimately, this guy and his company are not worth your time. The postive reveiews on this site are from the folks that don't mind working in a call center. If that's you give it a try, but keep in mind the CEO is kind of a bully and thinks that not a single idea he has is a bad idea. The review you should take into account is that "It's just not what it seems" That review has more of an objective view on the subject.

This is an unfortunate and dishonest review. This employee was terminated 2 days before this review was posted because they were making fake dials. They admitted their fault live in a call, but were defensive when we told them they were breaking ALL of our core values at once: - ownership and accountability - common sense - Client Centricity - Excellence - We're a team not a family - Company > Team > Individual We don't feel the need to defend our company or our CEO from these attacks because they're not based on merit, they're based on anger. We know this SDR was not expected to be caught cheating, and we know they were not happy with our decision to terminate them, we're also not surprised that they're attacking our company on the same basis of their termination. Integrity.

Pros

You will learn how to set a meeting on the phone, and how to mirror tonality. You will be required to read a Radical Candor, Gap Selling, Never Split the Difference, which are great. Most of the tactics learned from leadership are actually from these books. You will be able to finish your work in 3-4 hours max and spend your time how you choose.

Cons

Leadership is unstable, unfair, hypocritical and has a spoiled bully mentality. There is no opportunity for growth apart from SDRing and low level management (if that). There is a a revolving door of employees and clients.

Let’s acknowledge that this review is left after a big tech bubble burst, where most companies did huge layoffs while we kept all our employees. Sure the growth opportunities were diminished and we were unable to deliver high growth but we provided job security for all our employees. SDRs can make a ton of money and our top performers have taken $50K+ in commissions in a year, but if you’re in the bottom 20% of performers you’re not making much and you’re likely to leave, that system is built like that on purpose.
