Pros

Being on the right team makes it easy to thrive—even if it’s just by bonding over the chaos and dysfunction unfolding around you. Sometimes, the shared experience of navigating a complete dumpster fire is what truly brings a team together.

Cons

The C-suite’s focus appears to be more on selling the company than on fostering long-term growth or building a sustainable business. This is reflected in the ongoing reliance on a 'start-up' mentality, even after a decade in business, instead of adopting a more mature, strategic approach to operations. While the narrative around 'equity benefits' is often emphasized (and used as a substitute for pay increases), the reality is that the only true beneficiaries of a sale will be the shareholders and the executive team. Meanwhile, staff are left to navigate the ongoing challenges created by constant pivots and a disjointed—or often nonexistent—business strategy. This ongoing instability reflects a lack of focus, care, and maturity from the executive leadership.

We appreciate your recognition of the camaraderie and resilience within our teams—it’s something we value deeply. We also hear your concerns regarding leadership direction, equity, and long-term strategy. Feedback like this is essential as we continue to evolve. While growth in a dynamic space can be challenging, we’re committed to building a more sustainable and transparent organization. Your input is a valuable part of that process.
