Pros

many talented scientists and strong teamwork culture

Cons

I'm disappointed by the company’s lack of transparency and fairness. One of the biggest issues is the inconsistency in scientific titles and compensation. Job titles did not always reflect employees’ experience, responsibilities, or expertise, particularly when compared with equivalent roles in Iceland. This creates confusion and frustration among staff. Communication from management is often insufficient. Important decisions affecting employees are not always explained clearly, leaving people uncertain about expectations, career progression, and future opportunities within the company. Compensation is also below market level for the responsibilities and expertise expected. Given the level of scientific knowledge and experience required for senior roles, the salary does not feel competitive. The company has many talented scientists and works on interesting projects. It has also strong collaborative culture inherited from Xbrane. However, leadership should improve transparency, communication, and fairness in career progression, job titles, and compensation if the company wants to retain experienced employees.
