Pros

-Free meals and snacks at office so you don't have to care about bringing your own lunch. -Quarterly outings and dinner

Cons

It used to be a very good company until 2 years ago but now the leadership and management have absolutely no clue on how to move forward. They are randomly experimenting by building new products and without doing any market research or identifying and use cases before doing so. As a result, they have suffered huge losses now due to which they have layoff even the most loyal and hardworking employees beacuse the systems they were working on are no longer in demand in the market or their product failed miserably. Also the humiliation which you face from the management like director and SVP is even worse as they don't have much of techical expertise on anything and they won't understand a thing. They are just here to bully and harass their subordinates. I just don't how are such people even surviving in the industry. They are like cockroaches who are good for nothing but they outlast everyone else. Also there is clear and obvious favourism for Tamilians . There is a n atmosphere of fear and chaos at Amagi and every day people are dreading the layoff. Moreover , the HR has clearly failed to create an inclusive environment as I see a lot groupism and exclusion happening within people of similar ranks as well. Overall, not a company where you can good lifelong friends. So please, keep these points in mind if you are planning to join Amagi

Pros

There is pros as per the current company situation.

Cons

There are so many things which draws company and work environment towards negative. 1. There is no work life balance. You always have to do overtime without any extra pay. 2. There is HR team for namesake only. They are totally helpless to the employees. 3. Never ever expect year end appraisals. 4. Your managers or team leads never appreciates you for your extra-ordinary work, but they always abuse you for your single tiny mistake. 5. Their product is so buggy and unstable that no one can even imagine that production products can be this much buggy and unstable. 6.Work culture is now very much toxic, which no one can think about it ever. 7. Company and managements only and only supports Tamilians and little bit Kannada people. 8. Management is also helpless and ignoring everything. 9. There is no platform or a way to complaint for any employee. 10. At last I want to better be jobless than to join Amagi. Joining Amagi is now like going for Suicide.

Pros

There are only 2 class of employees here. Either they have 8+ years experience(Gems) at Amagi or 2-3 years(recent joiners) Best in class office space(but you won't get if it is a remote job), on-time salary Humble and busy founders. CRO Mr. Srini is kind enough to retain leaders even if they are not giving any results

Cons

This is for the candidates who are about to join/interviewed for Inside Sales roles. Follow these steps to get succeeded in the inside sales team (I realised lately after quitting) 1) Impress the hiring manager by connecting with him personally 2) Don't ask anything related to the product you will be selling (He will think you are trying to be oversmart, He does not have a strong interest in knowledge) 3) Go out with him for every parties and drinks (MANDATORY to get promoted) 4) Its okay even if you are not achieving your targets. Because that doesn't matter (Anyway Amagi has a great review system which collects reviews from your manager only. so he will give good reviews if you are good with him,) 5) If your manager simply has biased negative opinion about other senior employees(VPs) just say "Yes, I dont like them too" 6) Don't ever talk or sit next to employees he doesn't like (You may be reprimanded). 7) He might call you and suddenly ask you to switch on your camera, but don't think as micromanagement, it is his care for you to get the best out of you 8) Don't say NO to any odd hour meetings even if you already worked for more than 12 hours in that day. Because he won't ask about work so its more of a time-pass meeting 9) Do not ever talk about work in 1-o-1 meetings. This may cause him some annoyance. Instead ask about his personal business and how is doing while having full-time job. You can also start one once you get promoted, use the bonus to start one 10) Your manager has the right to talk in front of the team/other team on how he created salary dis parities among the members, But if you question him will say he will raise complaint against you for breaking HR policies 11) Please pay attention to other issues in the team, such as employees leaving quietly or being harassed. If you don't ask about it he might feel you are only focused on work If you are able to produce great results but still not able to follow above standards, he will put you in PIP and pass on your achievements to his favorites. It is the other way of saying goodbye. STILL THERE IS A CHANCE TO ASK HIM OUT AND MAKE THINGS BACK TO NORMAL. Try at your own risk as he might abuse you again infront of everyone. Disclaimer: If you believe in meritocracy and self respect don't join here. THERE ARE BETTER COMPANIES TO JOIN RATER THAN WRITING REVIEWS LIKE THIS LATER. But hey, this was just my experience. You can join if you love connecting with non growth mindset people and do something during your free-time while managing your family business. This is the best place to work.
