This company is a mess, currently, they own 2 schools in the US, one on each coast, Boston and San Diego. Both institutions are a disaster and are in real jeopardy of getting shut down. They operate on a shared services model, where a lot of integral departments are off-site and 100% remote, this is extremely frustrating for the employees and the students as it is difficult to communicate. Furthermore, the employees are all over the country, so there are folks living on the east coast servicing their west coast school, making it even more frustrating for employees who are forced to work off-hours, creating an awful work-life balance, and they don't care. Benefits are extremely expensive as well, for a family medical plan, I am paying almost $1600 a month...that is not a typo, and that is medical only, I came here and got a raise, but my paychecks are much less due to the exorbitant cost of the benefits. Don't bother trying to go to HR with a concern, they won't do anything about it, they will tell your manager and make things even more toxic than before.
